Speaker: Sarah Postich, M.S., NCC, LAPC
Sarah received her Bachelor of Science degree
in Psychology with a minor in French from the University of Georgia. She attained her Master of Science in Professional Counseling
from Georgia State University and is currently pursuing her Specialist in Education degree in Professional Counseling from
Georgia State University. Sarah's professional experiences include counseling individuals diagnosed with depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia
and schizoaffective disorder as well as leading psychoeducational and support groups at Skyland Trail. Sarah is
a case manager at Ridgeview Institute in Smyrna and sees individuals in the private sector in Marietta. Some
of her areas of interest include: anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, self-esteem, women's issues and sexuality
as well as personal and spiritual growth.

Mia
Broder is a writer and author of Fireflies of Madness. Her blog is http://firefliesofmadness.wordpress.com. Her work has also appeared in DBSA Metro Atlanta News. Come hear Mia explore the links between creativity and
mood disorders. Learn ways to harness creativity into a useful form, how to capture and use creativity when
depressed and how to catch and control it when manic. You'll learn ideas to spark your imagination and hear about
how Mia used her own creativity in writing her book.

Speaker: Raymond Kotwicki, MD, MPH
Dr. Kotwicki currently
serves as the Vice President for Clinical Affairs and Medical Director of Skyland Trail. Dr. Kotwicki completed residency
training and a post-doctoral fellowship in community psychiatry and public health at the Emory University School of Medicine
after prior training at the Cambridge Hospital of Harvard Medical School and Boston Medical Center (Boston University). He
is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Emory University School of Medicine as well as Assistant
Professor of Health Policy and Management at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. NAMI named Dr. Kotwicki
"Exemplary Psychiatrist" in Georgia in 2007. Special interests of Dr. Kotwicki include the integration of physical
and mental health care, anti-stigma initiatives, health policy, and other matters of social justice.

Brian Thomas, MD
Dr. Thomas is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist in private practice in Atlanta. He is
also a clinical assistant professor at Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in adult
and then child and adolescent psychiatry at Emory University School of Medicine. He attended medical school at Mercer
University School of Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia. Dr. Thomas is also
DBSA Metro Atlanta's Professional Advisor. Ask the Doctor is back by popular demand! Come prepared with your questions
