Speaker: David Karol Gore, PhD, PC
Dr. Gore
has been doing therapy since 1984 and received his doctorate in 1988. He is licensed as a psychologist and is also a clinical
member of the American Association of Family Therapy. Dr. Gore has a general psychotherapy practice in Buckhead, with an additional
Roswell office one day a week. He sees children, adolescents and couples, as well as individuals and families. He is married
with four children and enjoys the five minutes of peace and quiet he gets every month. He believes in therapy over medication,
in connection over isolation, in changing over homeostasis. He loves his work and looks forward to speaking to our group.

Speaker: Robyn Gruber,
LPC
Robyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the Director of the
Counseling Ministry at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church. She helps adults who have experienced trauma to heal from the wounds
of their past using a structured model of therapy called Trauma Resolution. She believes that there are no wounds that cannot
be healed and that it really is possible to resolve trauma and eliminate its ongoing effects on an individual’s life.
She is enthusiastic about the work she does and the changes that happen in her clients’ lives as their wounds heal.
She looks forward to speaking to our group. Robyn is married with two middle-school aged children.

Speaker: Brian Thomas,
MD
Dr. Thomas is a child, adolescent, and
adult psychiatrist in private practice in Atlanta. He is also a clinical assistant professor at Emory University School
of Medicine. He completed his residency training in adult and then child and adolescent psychiatry at Emory University
School of Medicine. He attended medical school at Mercer University School of Medicine. He received his undergraduate
degree at the University of Virginia. Dr. Thomas is also DBSA Metro Atlanta's Professional Advisor. Come prepared with
your questions for Dr. Thomas, as we'll take the entire time tonight for Q&A.
